How many people will be on each trip?

Our groups vary in size from 5-8 people. We select the appropriate size based on the trip activities.

What if I'm traveling with someone?

No worries! We have double occupancy rooms that will accommodate you. Just mention on your booking that you have a travel companion!

What if I'm traveling alone?

Again, no worries! Most of our groups are comprised of solo travellers that want to explore new places in a small group setting. There is a chance you may share a room with another guest of the same sex, but if you would like your own room for an additional fee, please reach out to us when you book and we will do our best to arrange it for you!

What is your refund policy?

We offer a refund on your deposit up to 180 days before trip start date. After that time, we cannot give refunds on deposits or final payments within 180 days of trip start date, unless we were to cancel the trip. In this situation, we guarantee a 100% refund for the inconvenience. We do not foresee trip cancellations happening often.

I have a diet restriction such as food allergy, will you be able to accommodate me?

Yes! We will do our best to accommodate all food restrictions on our trips! Private meals will be made with this in mind, and we will ensure restaurants have options for you as well. Being vegetarian ourselves, we are sensitive to other's needs for food availability.

How do I get to the first meet up point for the trip? What should I bring?

No stress! Elise was that friend sending everyone lists of what to remember to pack for vacation for as long as she can remember. We will make sure you get a list with packing recommendations, as well as instructions on how to best travel to the first meet up point for the expedition.

What if I don't want to do one of the activities?

It's your vacation! You are free to join the group or rest as you desire. Unfortunately, we cannot make price adjustments with this in mind. But there's no pressure from us to join on every group dinner or activity.

What if I'm not scuba certified?

We can usually accommodate you for a scuba certification if you would like to arrive prior to the trip start date to complete this course! Please reach out to us with which specific expedition you are interested in and we will give you some options!

What is the Code of Conduct for these trips?

We want you to have the best trip of your life with us! However, it is important that you are respectful towards the local people, other guests, and trip leaders. This includes honoring accommodation's quiet hours and treating the house as your own. We want everyone to feel respected and safe. We will remove guests that egregiously breach our Code of Conduct.

Why do you require trip insurance on every trip?

We require trip insurance on every trip to protect you in case of medical emergencies while on the trip or to protect your purchase in the case you need to cancel for an unforeseen circumstance. We want to encourage everyone to be happy, safe, and healthy!
